An ISSN is an eight digit number (with two groups of four digits separated by a hyphen) used to identify a periodical or series.

Examples:
0269-9702
0959-8146

You do not need to enter the hyphen(s) when searching for an ISBN or ISSN.

You can abbreviate an ISSN using a "*".

Examples:
305*
3404601*
0959*
