On June 5, 2016, the Swiss electorate voted on the amendment to the Reproductive Medicine Act (RMA), proposed on 12 December 2014. The legislation amendment was finally approved by this referendum. With the amendment to the law, the ban on PGD was lifted and the specific implementation of PGD was regulated.
