The German law against doping in sport with the short title Anti-Doping Act (AntiDopG) of December 2015 serves to counteract the use of means and methods of doping in sport for the benefit of protecting the health of athletes, maintaining equal opportunities and fairness in sporting competition and preserving the integrity of sport. The last amendment to the law came into force in July 2020, and further amendments to the law were discussed in April 2021.
